autumn skin just hits different doesn't it

Right so it's not October chaos this time, more like... November has crept in and my skin is doing that thing where it feels fine and then you catch yourself in a harsh light and go oh. Basically I've just gone back to a slightly heavier moisturiser at night. That's it. Nothing dramatic. I always forget how much the central heating dries everything out — like within a week of turning it on my cheeks feel completely different to how they did in September. Collagen's stayed constant through all of it mind you. I genuinely think that's the one thing that bridges the seasons for me, whatever else I'm switching in and out.

same with collagen, three years in and I just don't stop it — feels like the one thing I'd actually notice if I dropped it

harsh light in November is actually brutal

the central heating thing is so real, my skin goes from fine to sandpaper within days of turning it on

I genuinely always underestimate how fast it hits — last year I left it way too long switching and my skin was a mess by mid-November. Earlier this year I just swapped sooner and it made a difference.
