had a proper rubbish session and I think I know why

Ate too close to training. Like 40 minutes before, thought I'd be fine, I wasn't. Felt heavy through the whole AMRAP, couldn't link my toes-to-bar properly, just felt sluggish in a way that's hard to explain but you know it when it's happening. Missed a rep I'd normally hit Rx no problem. Honestly I keep landing on the same thing — for me it's gotta be at least 90 minutes out, something light, mostly carbs. When I do that the difference is just obvious. Today I rushed it and paid for it. Mind you this is just my stomach, some people are fine eating close to a session. But I've tested it enough times now to stop pretending it doesn't matter for me.

what do you eat in that 90 minute window, like what counts as light/mostly carbs for you?

rice cakes or a banana usually does it for me, anything heavier and I feel it on the wall
