mobility work mid-session is actually a thing

Right so I've started doing a few mobility drills between my heavier sets and honestly it's changed how the rest of the session feels. Not like a full stretch break, just 30 seconds of hip circles or a quick thoracic rotation before the next round. I was dead sceptical at first — feels like you're losing momentum or whatever. But tbh my hips feel way less locked up by the end and I'm hitting depth so much better on the squats. - Hip 90/90 rotations between lower body sets - Thread the needle for thoracic stuff before anything overhead - Even just a quick ankle circle if I can feel my calves tightening Basically just little resets. Takes like no time. I think I'd been treating mobility as a before-or-after thing only and mid-session just never occurred to me until recently.

yeah I started doing hip 90/90s between squat sets a few months back, massive difference on depth by the end of the session. felt like a waste of time at first ngl

does it affect how heavy you can go on the sets after, or do you just push through?
