skin feels like it's given up

Genuinely cannot remember the last time my skin felt this dull. Not dry exactly, just... flat. Like it's just existing rather than doing anything. I've been consistent with collagen for months now and it's still doing its thing — I can tell because when I have skipped a few days it shows pretty fast — but no amount of that fixes the general bleugh that comes with the heating being on constantly and drinking less water without even noticing. I think that's the bit I always forget. Autumn doesn't just change the temperature outside, it changes everything you do without you realising. Less water, more coffee, more time indoors. Skin doesn't stand a chance tbh. Anyway. Drinking more water from today. Boring but there it is.

so quietly as well, that's the thing — I don't notice until my skin looks properly grim after a long outdoor session

I always end up drinking way less without realising it, then wonder why my skin looks rough — took me ages to connect the two
