SPF is not enough on its own, right

Been working the front desk all summer with the doors propped open half the day and honestly my skin has been parched. Like I'm putting SPF50 on religiously, never skip it, but I kept wondering why my face still felt tight and a bit dull by the afternoon. Turns out I was doing all the protection stuff but basically ignoring the actual moisture side of things. The wind off the coast strips everything — SPF or not. I've had to layer a proper hydrating serum underneath my SPF now and it's made a tidy difference. Not magic or anything, just... less like sandpaper by 3pm. Also the collagen in the morning has become a bit of a non-negotiable for me over summer. I don't know the science behind it all that well but my skin just feels more like itself when I'm consistent with it.

aye same issue training outdoors, SPF on its own does nothing for the dryness

wind does the same thing as sweat honestly, just pulls the moisture straight out

yeah SPF on its own never feels like enough, always need something underneath or my skin just feels tight all day

the serum step really does change everything, took me ages to figure that out
