spring and my skin is just... confused

Honestly I've stopped overthinking it. Winter had me slathering on everything, now it's milder and I basically just stripped it all back. Collagen in my morning drink, a decent SPF, done. That's it. My skin was getting congested from too many layers and I didn't even clock it for weeks. Mind you I do think the collagen is doing something — can't prove it obviously, my GP would quite rightly tell me to not make claims — but my skin just feels less... papery? I mean I'm 50 and menopausal so I'll take any win tbh. If you're in that perimenopause/menopause phase and your skin is suddenly behaving differently, worth flagging with your GP or a consultant. It genuinely changed for me and I had no idea it was hormonal until someone told me.

the congestion thing is real, I did the same — piled on too much in winter and my skin just stopped coping when it got milder

the papery feeling thing is so real after menopause, collagen synthesis does genuinely slow down — can't promise a morning drink fixes it but it's not nothing either
