started skipping warm-ups and honestly paid for it

Been cutting corners lately — just grabbing my racket and going straight into a match because I was always running a bit late. Did that three sessions in a row and by the third one my shoulder was just... off. Not injured, but that tight grippy feeling where you know something's not happy. Took a step back and actually did a proper warm-up yesterday. Like 10 minutes, rotations, some light rallying, nothing fancy. And the difference in how I moved in the first set was genuinely mad. I don't know why I keep forgetting this. Basically I think my body just needs a bit of convincing before it'll actually perform. Makes sense when I think about it but I still somehow convince myself I can skip it when I'm pushed for time.

yeah the shoulder thing is so real, I ignored that same feeling for weeks once and genuinely set myself back a month. 10 mins is nothing compared to that

shoulders are the worst for that tight warning feeling, I've learned to just never skip the rotations now

same, I do arm circles and some cat-cow before anything now, feels a bit silly but my shoulders thank me every time
