summer skin is low maintenance skin, apparently

Honestly the heat has done something weird and good to my skin. In winter I'm layering stuff, my routine gets complicated, SPF then this then that. Right now I've basically dropped it down to three things and my skin looks... fine? Better than fine tbh. Collagen in the morning, SPF (non-negotiable, I live in London not the Sahara but still), and a light moisturiser at night. That's it. I stopped overthinking it and the skin just sorted itself out. Mind you I'm also drinking more water because it's warm and I'm not a complete idiot so maybe that's doing half the work.

mine actually got worse in summer last year, all the SPF reapplication was breaking me out more than winter ever did. this year I switched to a lighter one and it's been a bit better but still not fully cracked it
