Extra sponge matcha cheesecake

Cheesecakes do not usually have a spongy texture, but this matcha cheesecake will make you want to lie on top.
To prepare it, you will need …
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup cream cheese
1/2 cup milk
6 egg yolks
1/4 cup cornstarch
20 g of matcha and a little more to decorate
Whipped cream
For the meringue: 10 egg whites + half a cup of sugar.
Step by step:
Preheat the oven to 280 degrees celsius and prepare a round mold, smeared in oil and with baking paper on top.
For the meringue, simply mix and beat the ingredients until the egg whites rise.
For the dough, mix the butter, cheese and milk in a saucepan while it is on the fire. When everything is melted, remove it from the heat. Transfer it to a bowl and add the yolks, flour (sifted) and matcha. Stir until it is a uniform dough.
Put this dough in the pan and bake for 40 minutes. Then, let it cool and sprinkle with matcha.
Accompany it with the meringue to eat it, it will make it even more delicious!
