Vanilla and matcha sweet bread

You can call it a dessert or you can call it a bread, but we are sure that if you try this @modestmarce recipe, you will repeat it.
We will divide the ingredients into two lists. A list of ingredients for each one of the braids. Remember that these ingredients are for two breads. If you only want to make one, divide them in half.
For the vanilla egg bread:
1 packet of dry active yeast
1 cup of warm water + ¼ cup
1 teaspoon + ⅓ of a cup of sugar
1 beaten egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 teaspoons of salt
¼ cup of melted butter
3 cups and a half of flour
For the matcha egg bread:
1 packet of dry active yeast
1 cup of warm water + ¼ cup
1 teaspoon + ⅓ of a cup of sugar
1 beaten egg
4 grams of matcha
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 teaspoons of salt
¼ cup of melted butter
3 cups and a half of flour
For the egg wash:
2 large egg yolks
2 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Sesame seeds, for sprinkling
Method for the vanilla egg bread:
Mix the yeast, ¼ cup of water and a teaspoon of sugar. Let stand for 5 minutes to allow the yeast to activate.
Now whisk together the egg, vanilla, salt, melted butter, remaining water & remaining sugar. When you finish, transfer this mixture to a standmixer bowl.
Add the flour one cup at a time, and knead the dough for an additional 8 minutes.
Grease bowl & shape dough into a ball. Place dough back in bowl and cover with a damp towel. Allow dough to rise for an hour.
Method for the matcha egg bread:
Almost all the steps are the same as with the vanilla egg bread.
Mix yeast, 1/4 of water and one teaspoon of sugar. Let stand for 5 minutes.
Pay attention to this step:
In another bowl, mix matcha, egg, vanilla, salt, melted butter, the remaining water and the remaining sugar. Transfer this mixture to the first bowl.
Add the flour one cup at a time, and knead the dough for an additional 8 minutes, as you did before.
Grease bowl & shape dough into a ball. Place dough back in bowl and cover with a damp towel. Allow dough to rise for an hour.
Method for the egg wash:
This is the easy part! Whisk together the yolks, water & vanilla and set aside.
Let’s assemble them!
Remember you have two doughs now? Divide each one of them into 8 even pieces. Shape each piece into a long rope.

Brush with the prepared egg wash & sprinkle with black sesame seeds.

Bake at 160Cº for 15 minutes, turn oven to 200Cº and bake for 30 minutes more.
