baked pears — honestly didn't think this counted as a recipe

Right so it's barely a recipe but I've been making this on weekday evenings when I want something that feels like pudding but I'm not doing a whole thing. Half a pear, cut side up in a small baking dish. Little drizzle of honey, pinch of cinnamon, tiny bit of butter dotted on top. Into the oven at about 180 for 25-30 minutes until it's gone all soft and a bit caramelised at the edges. That's it. I've been having it with a spoonful of thick Greek yoghurt and sometimes I stir a bit of collagen into the yoghurt just while I'm there — you honestly can't tell the difference, it just sort of dissolves in. Toasted flaked almonds on top if you can be bothered, I usually can't. The whole thing smells like autumn in the best way and it's naturally gluten-free which is obviously always the main thing for me. That's proper lovely as an after-dinner thing when you don't want anything heavy. Mind you I've also eaten it for breakfast and I'm not sorry about it.

had half a pear going soft in the fridge last week and basically did this without thinking — hadn't occurred to me it was a recipe either, just seemed obvious

ooh hadn't thought of that swap, might actually work better with the cinnamon
