honestly just water and sunscreen at this point

Had a bit of a moment last week where I counted how many products were on my bathroom shelf and it was... a lot. Like, embarrassing a lot. So I've stripped right back this summer. Cleanser, SPF, one moisturiser that's basically just glycerin and not much else. That's it. My skin is honestly doing fine — better than when I was layering three serums and wondering why it was angry. The hydration thing is real though. Not in a wellness-influencer way, just — I noticed I drink way more water when I carry a bottle to work and my skin looks less tired. Dead simple, nothing to buy. Mind you I still wear SPF even on grey Bristol days which, to be fair, is most of them.

hydration definitely hits different when you're actually consistent with it — noticed my skin looks way less wrecked after heavy WOD weeks when I'm on top of water intake, nothing to do with products

stripped back my routine last summer and my skin actually calmed down so much — think I was just overwhelming it
