ok water is doing more than I thought
Honestly I've never been that person who tracks how much water they drink. Like I know you're supposed to, but I always just drank when I was thirsty and figured that was fine.
Then a few weeks back I started actually paying attention — not obsessively, just like, filling a big bottle in the morning and finishing it before end of day. Nothing else changed. Same routine, same sleep, roughly same food. And my skin just... looked less tired? Less that grey flat look I always blamed on the commute or bad lighting. Ains noticed before I did which is the real sign tbh.
I'm not saying it's some magic fix because I genuinely don't know enough about how all this works. But I feel like my skin had just been running on empty and didn't make a fuss about it until you actually sorted it out. My matcha in the morning probably helps too — warm liquid first thing feels different to me than cold water, I don't know why, it just does.
Mind you I still have dry patches and tired skin days. It's not transformed or anything. But that baseline dull look is less constant and honestly that's enough for me to keep going with it.
