rice cakes are having a moment in this flat

ok so I've been dead bored of the same breakfasts and Bex had a pack of rice cakes on the counter and I just... started building on them. ended up being proper decent actually basically I did thick Greek yoghurt on top, sliced banana, a tiny drizzle of honey and some granola I had left in a bag from like two weeks ago. takes maybe three minutes if you're not half asleep. it's not gonna win any awards but it kept me going until lunch which honestly is the only thing I care about on placement days. I've had it three times this week ngl — sometimes I do peanut butter instead of yoghurt if the banana-to-sweet ratio is feeling off what I used (for two rice cakes): - 2 plain rice cakes - 2-3 tbsp Greek yoghurt - half a banana, sliced - small handful of granola - tiny drizzle of honey deffo try it if you're in a rut, it's embarrassingly simple

do you find the greek yoghurt keeps you full or is that mostly the granola doing the work?

probably the yoghurt tbh, granola burns off dead fast in my experience — if you want something that actually sticks, try a bit of nut butter under the yoghurt, changes the whole thing

yoghurt does the heavy lifting tbh

Dan's right on the nut butter — protein + fat combo is what actually holds you
