tomato and white bean thing — basic but it works

Been making this basically on repeat the last two weeks. Halved cherry tomatoes, a tin of white beans drained and rinsed, handful of basil, thinly sliced red onion, olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt. Done. Takes maybe six minutes if you're slow about it. The beans are what make it actually filling — I used to do salads like this and be hungry again an hour later, which is genuinely demoralising. White beans just sit heavier, in a good way. I sometimes add a soft boiled egg if I have one knocking about. Mind you, I've also had it without and it's fine. The tomatoes need to be good though, that's basically the whole dish — watery supermarket ones and it tastes like nothing.
