Matcha Pancakes

Fluffy and sweet pancakes, with homemade cinnamon syrup, cream cheese glaze, and a touch of matcha. They couldn’t be more delicious! 💚

INGREDIENTS

For the batter:

  • 120 g flour
  • 6 g matcha
  • 4 g baking powder
  • 25 g sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 180 ml milk
  • 30 ml oil

Cinnamon syrup:

  • 30 g butter (at room temperature)
  • 25 g brown sugar
  • 2–3 g cinnamon
  • 15 g pancake batter

Cream cheese glaze:

  • 45 g cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • 22–25 g icing sugar
  • 15 ml milk

Instructions

First, start with the batter by mixing all the dry ingredients, then the liquid ingredients, until you get a smooth and even mixture. Heat a non-stick pan and add the batter. Cook on both sides and stack your pancakes on a plate

Meanwhile, prepare the syrup by mixing all the ingredients and transferring it to a small piping bag. Then prepare the glaze by mixing all the ingredients until you get a smooth cream. Finally, spread the glaze over your pancake stack and top with the syrup to taste.
