Matcha Sangria

Summer means gatherings, long lunches with friends or family, and enjoying the sunshine with a drink in hand. And while the classic summer favourite usually includes wine, today we’re bringing you an equally delicious — and much healthier — alternative with a unique twist: matcha sangria.

This alcohol-free version swaps wine for natural juices and adds our Premium Matcha, giving it not only that vibrant green colour, but also all the antioxidant and energising benefits of matcha. The result? A refreshing, fruity drink that's perfect for any occasion — from a weekend brunch with friends to a relaxing afternoon on the terrace.

Ingredients

  • 3 g Premium Matcha
  • 60 ml warm water
  • 1 green apple (diced)
  • 2 kiwis (peeled and diced)
  • 2 handfuls of green grapes
  • 2 limes (one juiced, one sliced)
  • A few sprigs of fresh mint
  • 250 ml apple juice
  • 500 ml grape juice (your sangria-style base, but healthier!)
  • 250 ml chilled sparkling water

Instructions

Chop the fruit and juice one of the limes. Whisk the matcha with warm water using your favourite whisk or frother.

In a large jug, combine the diced fruit, mint, and matcha. Pour in the juices and mix well.

Chill in the fridge until nice and cold. Just before serving, top with sparkling water. And that’s it — a healthy, alcohol-free toast full of flavour.
