Tzatziki with matcha

10 min 2

In summer (but not only), we like to eat fresh and easy-to-prepare dishes, do you as well? That's why today we bring you a quick and simple recipe with ingredients that we easily have at home or can get without difficulty: Greek Tzatziki with matcha 🌱. Moreover, it doesn’t require cooking, a blender, or anything else, another plus point. 😉

Ingredients:

2 Greek yoghurts

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh mint
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 g of Original Matcha
  • Ground black pepper
  • Carrot and celery sticks

Instructions

1
Start by preparing all the ingredients and peeling the cucumber and washing it well.
2
Then, using a fine grater, grate it until you get a sort of cucumber purée. Lightly salt it and let it drain in a strainer or sieve to release its water.
3
In a bowl, mix the yoghurt, oil, chopped garlic, juice of 1/2 lemon, chopped mint, matcha, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
4
Finally, incorporate the well-drained cucumber, stir gently, and serve cold. It can be served immediately, but Greek Tzatziki is better rested for a couple of hours in the fridge, so it is colder and a bit thicker. Time to dip and enjoy 💚
